Memory: 8 GB DDR4

Hard Drive: 256 GB SSD

Screen: 15.6″ touch display

Pros

As we mentioned above the 2 in 1 features on the Dell i5568-4492GRY are probably the biggest selling point on this model. It gives you the ability to quickly move from laptop mode to tablet mode and back again in a blink of an eye. In addition to the most common modes it also can be used in tent and stand modes to give you great flexibility in how you use your new device.

Dell hasn’t forgot about performance when they designed this 2 in 1 model and made sure that it could keep up with power user requirements. The Intel Core i5 processor is a step below the i7 but still very capable without the high end cost and when you combine this with 8 GB of memory you end up with a machine that can handle plenty without getting bogged down.

For a full sized model this laptop is still quite light which is a must if it is going to be marketed as a laptop for mobile users due to its 2 in 1 design. The total weight is just 4.5 pounds putting it slightly below the weight of a typical 15.6 inch laptop.

Cons

Dell has decided against a standard SATA hard drive and instead went with an SSD which overall is actually a plus due to its faster speeds but one thing that it lacks which will be a concern for some is large storage capacity. With just 256 GB of storage it is as much as 1 quarter the size of what a standard SATA can provide.

One of the ways Dell was able to make this device so light is by stripping out the optical drive, Those who have not fully embraced moving away from physical media will end up having to purchase an external drive for this purpose.

Verdict

It is hard to not like the Dell i5568-4492GRY with its nice 2 in 1 design and decent hardware which gives it enough performance to keep all but the very highest demanding users happy. We suggest taking a strong look at this laptop before making your next purchase as it might just be the perfect fit for you.
