Pros

Mobility will be at the top of the priority list for most users looking at purchasing the Dell Inspiron 5000 i5368-8833GRY and you can expect to be covered quite well as this 13.3 inch model comes in at just 3.4 pounds making it a nice fit for those who need to be on the go while still staying connected.

The 360 degree hinge which gives you the ability to use the device in multiple modes is a great addition to have on a device whose main use is going to be for on the go computing. The four modes supported are your standard laptop mode, tablet mode along with tent and stand modes.

Performance doesn’t take a backseat to the mobility features in this Inspiron model due to the powerful Intel Core i7 processor packed under the hood. Along with a top end processor it also includes 8 GB of memory giving it performance that can easily match most full sized models on the market.

Cons

It is difficult to say if this is a benefit or downside but the Dell Inspiron 5000 i5368-8833GRY comes with an older SATA drive vs a more modern and faster performing SSD. While that sounds like an obvious answer the one advantage the SATA has is much more storage capacity and in this instance you will have 1 TB or 1000 GB compared to a typical SSD which will have 128 to 256. Heavy file savers will quickly see the benefits going with a SATA can provide.

While the laptop is very light and easily beats out a full sized model we have reviewed many other 13.3 inch screen which come in slightly lighter then the 3.4 pound Dell Inspiron 5000 i5368-8833GRY.

Verdict

The Dell Inspiron 5000 i5368-8833GRY is a nice overall laptop which is slightly more affordable then similar models available and some of these reasons are a SATA drive over an SSD and a design while still light is slightly heavier then its competition. If these are not big concerns for you this may be a great choice for your next laptop.
